All right we’re going to get measuring for your dog’s new collar so the first thing you’re going to need is your dog’s current collar. You’re going to want to size it on your dog so that it fits nice and snug at the perfect he perfect fit, and you’re going to need a measuring tape. So depending on the style of your collar, you’re going to measure it a little bit differently.
For the belt buckle style collar with the style buckle right here, you measure from the very end of the buckle, make sure your collar is lying flat, and then you’re going to the hole that fits your dog best so in this case, that’s a 17 inch collar, that’s the number we want to have. If you’re looking at one of these side buckle style collars, you measure a little bit differently, so again, you want me to make sure that your dog’s current collar is sized to fit them ideally, then you’re going to want to measure from the end of this part of the buckle right to the end of it, then make sure your collar is lying flat, then you’re going to measure to where the buckle fits inside itself okay, so don’t measure to the end, measure to this part here because otherwise you’ve got that overlap, so for this collar, that’s a 16 inch collar, so those are the two styles you’ll need to know in order to get a good fit for your dog.
